Truly embarrassing phone conversation ._.

So today was the day after prom.I went out as friends with a guy that has been a very close friend of mine. Then I got a phone call. I forgot to save that friend's number to my phone so whenever he calls, usually only the numbers would appear. So when I reached out and grabbed my phone looked at it and without a second thought answered it. So this is how it went.
Guy :Hi.
Me : Owh hi !
Guy : (confused at my voice ) Erm Do I know you ?
Me : What ? You don't recognize my voice is it ?
Guy : I'm sorry. i'm from the academy and I saw your contacts in one of our forms.
Me : (silently embarrassed and cursed and slap myself )
Me : oh my gosh. I am so sorry. You sounded like my friend so I thought you were him
Guy : it's ok. ( laughing )
Then he went on to promote his academy.

Sigh. What a phone call =.= He sounded so much like my close friend

My siren (olala~)

Oh gosh... Michael Buble is so hawt XD When you see his physique, it makes you want to drool and just hold him in real life. If that wasn't enought, his sexy voice adds a bonus for him XD thumbs up for his Christmas songs. If I could buy the album, I would listen to it every day before I sleep. Haizz What a dream I would have if he would to appear in it. ~~~ Struck in love

I hope it's worth it :)

It's Christmas Eve! Since most of my family's Christmas plans failed due to a lot of last minute factors , I'm currently just stoning at home.

Anyway, who says I can't have fun celebrating Christmas at home? Facebook is fun! Well, chatting to other lifeless people are fun too! Ahahaha. Kidding :p

I went for amali/ bengkel today. Getting my L license soon! :D Can't wait to drive. Hope that I won't encounter any road bullies ahahaha. Although I seriously suspect one of my friend is becoming a road bully :p

Oh! I also received my National Service letter 2 days ago. Luckily, I deferred NS 2 days before the letter arrives :D To be honest, I don't mind going NS anymore. I actually feel like going since my campsite is in Selangor and I'm lucky enough to get first batch. Oh well, I registered for college. So yeah, I'll miss all those friends who are going NS! Especially a certain girl named See Yen Lin . *cough*

I can't believe I only have 11 days left till college. I feel really old :/

Ahh. I wish time could stand still. I'll miss all my friends a great deal:( Gosh, now I sound like a whiner or something.

Can I make a Christmas wish? ahahaha. Since I've been such a good girl this year:D Alright, I wish for 10 A+ in SPM :) hee! :D

Alright, going out with my bros to countdown. Hee:D

There will always be hope:)

Hello! :) It's been a while since I last blogged. Luckily Li Sim updates this blog frequently, or else this blog would probably be dead.

Well. To be honest, I don't know what to blog. Ahahaha.

Hmm. Lets start with SPM . Well, I regret not studying earlier. I hate studying last minute. If I don't get 10A+ . I'd probably hate myself for not studying earlier. Yes, I'm serious. My last minute is like the day(s) before. I only studied form 4 for biology. So yeah. I do think I'm a bitch. For mandarin, well I had 7 days to study. Yet I spent 6 days watching movie. Seriously, all my breaks during SPM were filled with movies. Someone should shoot me:/

Alright. Now we move on to what happens after SPM . Ahahaha.

I spent most of the days watching movies. Seriously, I love movies just as much as ice cream:) oh! and purple:D ahahaha. I went for undang and all. I had epic convos with my brothers regarding undang test :)

Before undang test

Bro: " Do you know that you have to get 50/50 for undang test?"
Me : "Serious? Why? :O "
Bro: " Cos the one question that you got wrong might get you killed on the road:) "

After undang test

Me : " Hey, are we doing anything tonight?"
Bro: " No. We are just going to stay home. Not that we can go out and celebrate since you only got 49/50 ."

Seriously, I have the best brothers on earth. They never fail to make me feel good.

Hmm. I've been out shopping lately, for college clothes:) hee. Oh! By the way, I'm going to Sunway College for A-Levels :) So yeah, find me if you are at Sunway Pyramid okay? :D I still can't believe that in 2 weeks time, I'll be going to college! :D ahaha.

But gosh. I'll miss SMK Taman S.E.A. and all my friends. I can't believe 5 years passed just like that:( Okay, now I feel old. I'm going to start knitting or play mahjong. ahahaha. Anyway, to people who are going to prom, snap nice pictures kay?:D So that I can view it on facebook or something ahahaha.

I'm done:D

Stuck in a rut after SPM ?

Same here. In fact, there is a wide array of undergraduate course that I don't even know which to choose ! So here are the basics and hopefully this will help you to not be such a blur case as I am.I think I have a clear idea of what I want now. So in return, I will help you to know what you want too. =)

Cambridge A- level
-Time : 18 months or so-so
-This course is super expensive. My rough estimate for this course would range somewhere along 20k-30k.
-This course is a have-to for anyone aiming the Ivy League colleges such as Harvard,Cambridge,Oxford and so on and so forth.
-It is highly recognized in other parts of the world so it would be easy to gain entrance to international universities.
-Be prepared to deal with examinations because this is pure based 100% on examination.
-It consist of 3 parts in the first semester.Fail one part and you would have to retake the whole 3 parts again which is going to eat not only time but also money.Same goes to second semester but it consist of only 2 parts.
-Highly recommended for those taking medicine, engineering and courses related in the field of science.
-In my honest opinion, it is best to take edexcel.

Edexcel
Time : Not really sure but should be similar to Cambridge A-level
-It is similar to Cambridge A-level in terms of what the coursework is like (100% examinations) ,frame and fees.
-If you fail one part, you would only have to take that part and not redo the whole thing. So basically, it saves money and time.
-Highly recognize as well just like Cambridge except it's easier in a sense.
- So far, the only college I know that is offering this program is HELP university.

South Australian Matriculation (SAM)
Time : 1 year or 9 months ( accelerated)
-Expensive as well. Probably around 20k.This is just rough estimation. It might be well off the mark.
-Recognized in many universities but limited if compared to GCE A-level and Edexcel. On the plus side, it is widely recognized in Australia.
-Can't really say much because I haven't done research in this program yet.
-Available in taylor's college. (Subang is one of the Taylor's college branch that I know that offers this program)
-Some call this Self Abuse Matriculation. So be prepared for the worst.

Australian Matriculation
Time : 8-9 months.
-What is the difference from SAM ? It is from Western Australia.(whattheheck I know right ? )
-For some reason,it is more expensive than SAM by a few thousand . Which is A LOT.
-50 % course work and 50% examination. So the stress on examination is lifted and it basically provides a better preparation for university life.
-Available in Sunway University.

International Baccalaureate
Time : 2 years
-HIGHLY recognized just as well as Cambridge.
-VERY flexible. So, if you ever want to change your mind, it is permitted unlike other programs.
-Gain entry to highly esteemed universities such as Imperial College and many others.
- I don't know the fees so I can't touch it in terms of finance.

These programs are for those people interested in studying abroad. For those that want to study locally, STPM is really the best choice to take.Hopefully this helps and so good luck hunting down your dream colleges and universities.

This blog

I don't want this blog to be one of those blog where people just set up pictures of themselves. I want this blog to have something written that is worth reading. I want people to read instead of just scrolling pictures and flipping through the pages. I want to see how people really take the time to read one person's blog instead of just expecting pictures even though they are interesting to see.

When I see people's comment of how nice this blog is, I wonder if they really meant the post or just the layout of the blog. Sometimes, I ponder on the fact that although this blog has a cutesy picture, I want this blog to also bring life lessons and meaning into someone's life. I want to make them feel something instead of leaving this blog saying " Owh, that was a nice looking blog. Nice pictures and post."

A child within

Whenever there is this 3D animation movie, its hard not to get excited about. Especially when I saw this movie (Puss in boots) and a trailer of DR SUESS THE WHORF. I mean Ohmygosh WHO IN THE WORLD WOULDNT THINK THESE TWO MOVIES ARE TO DIE FOR ???? They both are so cute and adorable that I think I almost went crazy for Puss In Boots. Unfortunately, The Whorf will have to wait until the year 2012. What a long way to go....

I would recommend puss in boots for anyone that has a fondness for not only cats in boots ( what ) but also animation that gives a moral impression on viewers. Not only was the movie exceptionally awesome in terms of characters, it also served a purpose as a movie that teaches audiences life lessons which I think deemed as a real inspiration to us all.

So watch it because you never know what is going to hit you. I watched it and almost cried in the cinema. So make sure to bring some extra tissues in the cinema . As for the couples, it is a nice movie to cuddle together ;D That's right for those romantically obsessed people. So get your movie tickets ready AND GO FORTH MY FRIENDS :D

When I see someone,

I see someone's child,
Someone's brother,
Someone's sister,
Someone's father,
Someone's mother,
Someone's cousin,
Someone's nephew,
Someone's family.
Stop human trafficking .
Mtv Exit has really opened my eyes to the real problem of human trafficking. Even though we might not know whether if the people we meet are really who they are or forced labors, the people around us are constantly in danger of either becoming or is a victim of this inhumane act. Act now by telling your loved ones to be careful in dealing with strangers and have the opportunity to tell them how you really love them because it matters. If you saw or sense that there is human trafficking going on near you, then act now to not only save them but reunite families.
