Hello! :)

I'm glad Li Sim blogs, or else this blog would be so dead because I don't blog much *not because I'm lazy*

Anyway, I'm here to give a not-so-brief story on my holiday, which was simply amazing. :D

1. Oxford :)

Yes, I went to Oxford! ;) I was there for an interview for 4 days and 3 nights *fingers crossed that I'll be accepted* :)  Anyway, it's definitely a moment I'll remember for life.

I was in Oriel College, which looks like this :

I'm glad I was in Oriel because everyone there is really nice :)  Dessert was great ♥  I used to think that interviewers would be like fire-breathing monsters thanks to one of my past interviews, but during my interviews (I had 2 interviews),  my interviewers were surprisingly friendly :)

The weather there was really cold. I believed it dropped to negative 7 degree Celcius one night :/ Yours truly could not stand cold weather. Ahaha. I had to wrapped myself up in 3 or more layers of clothes everyday. My heater was my best friend there. :')

Oh! There was a little bit of snow too! :) So I guess, it was my first time seeing snow ahaha! :D

Anyway, Oxford was absolutely amazing. I'll visit it again even if I get rejected ahaha! :)

2. Bristol
After my interview ended, I went to Bristol to visit my brother :) I spent around a week or more there. Most of my time was spent on annoying my brother ( yes, this is a part of my sisterly-love ;D ) and doing house chores for him. *applause*

3.London
I went to London for 4 days and 3 nights :)  During my first day, I met up with my favourite senior, JehYing! :)

She is so pretty ahaha! She was like my tour guide there, bringing me to Hyde Park, Harrods and her university, LSE :D She is still super kind, she bought me cupcakes :') Thanks JehYing! ♥ :)

On the second day, I went to Oxford Street to shop :)  I love sales ahaha! I didn't buy a lot though because I am a rational consumer *cough* ;) Anyway, I went sightseeing on the third day. Couldn't upload any photos now because the photos are still with my brother. He refuses to send it to me because it's such a hassle for him. Oh well.

4. Cardiff
I love Cardiff ahaha! I bought this bookmark made of sheep poo. AHAHA. Anyway, I went to the Cardiff market for FOOD ;) Not a fan of Welsh cake though :/

Sadly, it was raining on my first 2 days :( So I only spent my third day in Cardiff Bay for sightseeing. Oh well, being a complete optimistic tourist, we spent the first 2 days shopping and exploring at night :) There was these 2 guys who rode bicycles and did stunts to scare me on the second night >:(

5. Malaysia
So I'm back in Malaysia again! :D Although I miss the weather, food and people here, I'm slugging through my homework instead of going out and have fun. Sigh. Thanks Sunway.

First dream

lately I have been dreaming of death. There was two versions of this kind of dream that I had. This was the first :

     I was with my friend (Secondary school friend of whom I shall not reveal) in Africa doing humanitarian work. My secondary school friend had shaved his hair and was now sporting a new look. He was bald with stubbing all over where his hair used to be. We were helping starved African children and feeding them a soup of some kind. They were envisioned as these malnourished children until the ribcage could be seen kind of malnourishment. One of them had a leg missing because of war. He took the bowl from me and smiled the most kindest smile ever. Women and children alike were taking the food together.

     Suddenly dark clouds loomed over and a bunch of men with weapons opened fire in the plain fields that we were in.We ran and the kid with the one leg was lagging behind. I rushed over to pick him up and then pushed him to run faster. I fell down and lay there while the rain beat on. The cloud was blocking so much of the sun ray that only lightning flashes provided visible light. I lay there with mud all over my face to see my friend ran on. He ran and then a man shot him from the back. I screamed and tears streamed down my eyes. My vision was blurry and I woke up. I don't know whether if it was the heart pumping or the fact that I realised that the event was just a dream. I'm just glad that the dream is over or so I thought.

All I want for Christmas is YOU ~

  Since Christmas is coming near, I have two things that I truly want and yet so hard to get. CAUSE THEY FRIGGIN EXPENSIVE !

    First is a new laptop cause this laptop has such a short life that I'm afraid when I blink the battery might go from 100% to 0%. This laptop has amazingly become NOT portable because of the restrained lifeline (the cord). I hate to move the laptop because then I would have to unplug it and move everything (laptop, fan system, cable) to and fro my room which I find can be quite hassling. Gosh, why oh why must my laptop be so bad. Sometimes, I understand why my brother even gave this to me in the first place.

     The second thing I want is a Canon EOS 1100D so I can fill this blog with pretty pictures I see everyday ~! Even saying the name makes me want it all the more ! I always wanted to have a camera of my own to take pictures with. unfortunately, I never really got the chance to get my hands on a good one. Mostly because I share my parents camera which I find it to be pretty sad >-< The extra bonus of it all is I get to have it in this vibrant red colour which I love !

   However, such wants are not necessarily needs. Looks like, I have to wait for next year Christmas to get these lovely things when I have enough hard cash to buy it. Sometimes, Christmas isn't always what the holiday live up to be. Just saying.

Back again!

     Yes we have been on a long hiatus. I think it would come to two years since we lasted posted anything. Terribly sorry about that people. Me and my friend are currently in college and since we are swarmed with work, we just forgotten about this blog.

     Sadly, it's such a quite scene to return to this blog isn't it? So, I was wondering if I could somehow change this blog to something different. Maybe something with a little more pictures to make it livelier! Well, that is for all. Don't really know what to post now since the long absence.
